HAPPY MIND
a MICRO-dOSING EXPERIENCE
a MICRO-dOSING EXPERIENCE
Mother Earth has gifted us incredible plants and fungi that support our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. When approached with care and respect, these natural allies can offer profound benefits—without the side effects often caused by synthetic medications, both in our bodies and in the environment.
One of these natural resources is the use of psilocybin mushrooms in very small amounts—known as microdosing. A microdose is a sub-perceptual dose, meaning it’s so small that it doesn’t cause hallucinations or disrupt daily life, yet it can still subtly enhance your inner landscape.
Many people are drawn to microdosing for its potential to improve mental clarity, emotional resilience, and creative thinking. In fact, the 2021 Global Drug Survey reported that individuals microdose to improve mood, increase focus and concentration, enhance creativity, and support overall cognitive function. This growing interest is shared by both the general public and the scientific community.
While research is still ongoing to fully understand the long-term benefits of microdosing, much of what we know today comes from the insights gained in macrodose experiences. Because the body builds a tolerance to psychedelics over time, effective microdosing protocols include built-in rest days to allow your neurochemistry to reset and integrate. Another key factor in successful microdosing is tracking your experience consciously—this is where real transformation begins.
This is not about simply handing you a capsule and sending you on your way. This is a guided, community-based experience where we walk this journey together—with intention, reflection, and accountability.
On this page, you’ll find a clear explanation of the protocol, the role each supplement plays in the stack, how the group container will be held, and what will be expected of you. At the end, you’ll be able to select the path that best suits you.
I’ll be offering two journey types:
🌱 Beginner (Seekers) — for those new to microdosing or looking to reconnect gently.
🌿 Advanced (Explorers) — for those ready for a deeper dive with optional 3-month supply kits available.
Let’s microdose—with intention, with support, and the Stamets way.
Psilocybin
Lion’s Mane
Niacin (B3)
100-300 mg (0.1 - 0.3 g)
50–200 mg extract or 5–20 g fruiting body
75–200 mg (flush form)
1 capsule = 0.15 g (150 mg) of hand-prepared psilocybin powder.
1 capsule = 500 mg high-quality 1:1 fruiting body extract
1 tablet = 100 mg flush niacin
The Stamets Protocol was developed by Paul Stamets, a world-renowned mycologist, researcher, and author who has spent decades studying the healing potential of mushrooms. His work bridges ancient wisdom and modern science, focusing on how fungi can support both human health and ecological balance.
This particular microdosing protocol combines psilocybin, Lion’s Mane mushroom, and niacin (Vitamin B3) to support neurogenesis—the growth of new brain cells—and to enhance cognitive function, emotional resilience, and overall brain health. Stamets believes that this combination may help “rewire” the brain by opening up new pathways and increasing connectivity, particularly when taken with intention and consistency.
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychoactive compound found in certain species of mushrooms. It’s the chemical responsible for the mind-expanding effects often associated with what people call a “journey.” When taken on an empty stomach, its effects can be felt within 30 to 45 minutes—depending on whether it's consumed fresh, dried, as a tea, mixed with lemon juice (“lemon tek”), or in capsule form.
Ongoing research continues to highlight the potential benefits of psilocybin. Studies suggest it can increase activity in the visual cortex, promote a sense of ego dissolution, enhance creativity, and foster greater empathy and emotional insight.
Personally, what I love most about working with psilocybin mushrooms is their incredible ability to help us unearth and release stored emotions—ranging from deep joy and laughter to sadness, grief, and old, unconscious memories. They often bring unexpected insights and a shift in how we perceive ourselves and the world. And, like many things in nature, psilocybin is non-addictive and leaves the body within a few hours.

Lion’s Mane is a powerful medicinal mushroom known for its unique support of the nervous system and brain health. Unlike psilocybin, it’s non-psychoactive—you won’t feel it in a noticeable way, but it’s quietly working behind the scenes to strengthen your mental clarity, focus, and memory.
Research has shown that Lion’s Mane can stimulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), a protein that helps regenerate neurons and protect the brain from decline. In simpler terms: it helps your brain grow and stay sharp.
That’s why it’s such a key part of this stack. While psilocybin opens the mind and softens rigid thinking, Lion’s Mane builds and protects the neural pathways you’ll be using to rewire old habits and perceptions.
🧠 Supports neurogenesis and brain plasticity (your brain’s ability to adapt and grow)
🔍 Improves memory, concentration, and cognitive performance
🌿 May help with anxiety and depression by balancing the nervous system
💪 Strengthens the gut-brain connection and supports overall vitality
The Lion’s Mane used in this journey is a fruiting body extract, not mycelium grown on grain—so you’re getting the most potent and beneficial parts of the mushroom.
Taken consistently, this gentle yet powerful mushroom helps lay the foundation for long-term change, one small dose at a time.
Niacin, also known as Vitamin B3, plays a surprising yet powerful role in this protocol. It’s not just here as a nutritional supplement—it’s the bridge that helps distribute the benefits of psilocybin and Lion’s Mane throughout the body.
When taken in its “flush” form, niacin causes a temporary warm, tingling sensation in the skin. This flush is completely harmless and actually indicates increased blood flow, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients to the brain and peripheral nerves. This improved circulation may help carry the effects of the mushrooms more efficiently, supporting a full-body integration of the experience.
🔥 Promotes circulation, helping Lion’s Mane and psilocybin travel more effectively to where they’re needed
🌬️ Supports detoxification by assisting the liver and skin in releasing stored toxins
🧘♀️ Encourages a sense of grounding—helping keep the experience embodied and balanced
🩺 Plays a role in energy metabolism and nervous system health
While the flush might feel a bit unusual at first—like warmth, tingling, or redness in the skin—it’s completely harmless and usually passes within 30–60 minutes. Be sure to take niacin with food (a light, low-fat meal works best) to help reduce the intensity of the flush.
Important: If the sensation becomes too uncomfortable or distracting, it’s perfectly fine to skip the niacin. You’ll still receive powerful benefits from the other two ingredients. This protocol is meant to support you—not overwhelm you.

The basic Stamets protocol follows this weekly rhythm:
The recommended schedule is to dose Monday through Thursday, and rest Friday through Sunday, since the goal is to enhance your mental clarity, creativity, and focus during your most active, working hours.
However, you’re free to adapt the schedule to what serves you best. Some people prefer Thursday through Sunday as their dosing window, or may choose to take the capsules in the afternoon instead of the morning, depending on their energy flow and personal needs.
This is your journey—stay curious, listen to your body, and adjust as needed.
We’ll walk through the process together as a group. While the first cycle is one month long, participants are encouraged to commit to a full 3-month journey. This allows you to observe more clearly the shifts in your mood, focus, creativity, or emotional regulation. Think of this as your own research project—a chance to really study how your mind and body respond.
The upcoming group will begin August 11th and will be a closed container (no one will join mid-cycle).
We’ll follow this rhythm for 3 months:
✅ 4 weeks on
⏸️ 2 weeks off (rest, reflection, reset)
And repeat.
This structure offers a full, grounded experience with built-in time for integration.
For those who want to go deeper into their personal process, I recommend using a free app called Quantified Citizen (Read more about it on microdose.me) It’s part of a research initiative where Paul Stamets and his wife serve as consultants, and it supports a growing meta-study on the effects of microdosing.
The app (available on iPhone and Android) allows you to track things like:
While your data is kept private, it gives you meaningful insights into how your body and mind are responding to the protocol—especially over the 3-month journey.
By the end of your 3-month process, you’ll have a deeper understanding of your own rhythms, responses, and needs. The goal is for you to feel confident continuing your microdosing journey independently—choosing your own timing, intervals, and stack as you evolve.
Of course, you are welcomed to be part of another group if this experience shows to be of benefit to you.
No. A microdose is a sub-perceptual amount, meaning you shouldn’t feel intoxicated or out of control. Most people simply notice subtle shifts in mood, clarity, or creativity. If you ever feel overstimulated, you can adjust your dose or schedule.
If you have a personal or family history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis, or are currently taking SSRIs or MAOIs, it’s strongly recommended that you consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any microdosing practice.
That said, I’m more than happy to work alongside your therapist or healthcare provider to support your process. In the past, I’ve had psychologists reach out directly with questions, and some have even referred clients to me after learning more about the way I hold space for plant medicine in a group setting. If your provider is open, I welcome that collaboration.
No problem. Life happens! Just pick up where you left off. The schedule is flexible—you can adjust based on your energy, responsibilities, or needs. This is a long-term journey, not a race.
Yes! Microdosing blends well with most daily routines. In fact, many people report enhanced benefits when combining it with journaling, meditation, movement, or breathwork. Just avoid alcohol or other substances that may interfere with your process.
You’re not alone in this journey. We’ll have a private Telegram group called “Happy Mind Group” where everyone can share their experiences, reflections, and questions. This space will be held with care and run for the full 3-month cycle—including the rest weeks in between—to provide ongoing connection and support.
Whether you're feeling inspired, confused, or just want to share how things are going, the group is there for you. And of course, you're always welcome to reach out to me personally if you need guidance or have more specific concerns.
No, it’s optional—but highly encouraged. The Quantified Citizen app gives you valuable insight into how your body and mind are responding. Think of it as a personal experiment with real-time feedback.
It depends on the type of medication, how long you’ve been taking it, and other unknown factors that may carry certain risks. That’s why it’s highly recommended to have an open conversation with your doctor about microdosing before starting. I work with very gentle doses that fall within the sub-perceptual range, but every body and situation is unique. With proper guidance, yes—it can be done safely. And please remember: never stop taking a medication on your own. This process is here to support your well-being, not to replace medical treatment.
If you're planning to attend a plant medicine ceremony—such as ayahuasca, mushrooms, or any other intensive journey—I recommend pausing your microdosing protocol the week before and the week after your ceremony.
This gives the medicine the space it needs to work deeply without interference and allows your body, mind, and spirit time to prepare, receive, and integrate the experience fully.
I do not sell psilocybin mushrooms on their own or offer psilocybin capsules separately. This is a conscious choice to affirm that what I offer is part of a healing process, combined with other components that support emotional, mental, and spiritual integration. I prepare the beginner kit by blending 0.10 mg of psilocybin with 0.05 mg of Lion’s Mane, staying close to the established protocol while gently discouraging recreational use. To honor the purpose behind my new Explorer and Devoted kits—intended for spiritual healing—I only offer them as complete microdosing kits. I trust in your integrity and intention as you work with this natural medicine.
Psilocybin is currently classified as a controlled substance in many places. While decriminalization efforts are growing, it’s important to be aware of your local laws. This group is for educational and harm-reduction purposes only. You are fully responsible for your participation and actions.
